Zhantao Lin, sixth-generation disciple of Yang Style Tai Chi . Mr.Lin studied South Shaolin martial arts in his early years 洪拳,蔡李佛. He then studied internal martial arts under Master He Zhongbing, (Baguazhang ,Sing Yi Quan, and White crane forms). Between 1985 and 1993, Mr. Lin learned Wu-style Taichi from Ms. Chen Yunjuan who studied under Taichi Master Hao ShaoRu. In the 1990s, Mr. Lin studied Yang Zhenji’s 88-forms Taichi under Master Yan hanxiu, the fifth generation Yang style Taichi successor.
Mr. Lin moved to Boston, MA, USA in 1999 and started to teach Taichi at various Asian cultural centers, businesses, school, and religious organizations. Mr. Lin teaches Taichi by combing physical forms with oral instructions. His teaching has since helped hundreds of people to deepen their understanding in Taichi practice.
In 2009, Mr. Lin established Boston Taichi Association at Asian Cultural Center (Woburn, MA). In the summer of 2016, he was invited to teach Tai Chi in Santiago, Spain. In 2017, Mr. Lin was invited to participate the first overseas martial art conference (Beijing, China) sponsored by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.
